AARON MINICK RELEASES
"THE GOSPEL: A COLLECTION OF SACRED HYMNS AND SPIRITUALS"
"Modern-Day Crooner blends classic vocal with current rhythms"
(Nashville, Tenn.) May 28, 2009 - Aaron Minick, steps into the spotlight with his solo project, The Gospel: A Collection of Sacred Hymns and Spirituals, blending classic vocals with current rhythms. Referred to as a "modern-day crooner", Aaron's style is reminiscent of Frank Sinatra and lately Michael Buble'. His roots in music began in recording and production as a drummer. Aaron's musicianship has taken him from the daily schedule of recording sessions to various television music programs and arena tours. Aaron has played on or produced hundreds of recordings over the past fifteen years.
A background in production has been advantageous in developing and recording music as an artist. He now records and produces from his Nashville Music Row facility, the legendary SoundShop Studios. His experience in producing, songwriting, arranging and mixing has helped him place his own musical fingerprint on his recordings. Current solo endeavors include a single release in May 2009, a Gospel recording of sacred hymns and spirituals, and remixes of selected material.
Harold Bradley, legendary music icon, played on all the tracks on the Minick sessions and commented: "There's a new sound in town with Aaron Minick's new album "The Gospel: A Collection of Sacred Hymns and Spirituals." Combining big band and orchestral sounds, Aaron sings beautifully over this background."
