Wynonna with her mother Naomi Judd, sang “Love Can Build A Bridge,” the perfect ending to a wonderful 30 year celebration weekend for our friends: Dr. Joe Cruse, Dr. Sharon Wegscheider-Cruse, Dr. Ted Klontz and his wife Margie Zugich, honored by new “Onsite” directors Miles Adcox and Julie North. Friends and colleagues came to Nashville to share in this weekend, which included life-changing workshops; I came away with a certificate for a six hour workshop on “Healing from Trauma.” “Thank you! Joe, Sharon, Ted and Margie for your dedication and work.” Best wishes and continued success to new Onsite leaders Miles Adcox and Julie North. My friendship with Joe and Sharon began many years ago in the Rocky Mountains at the Christian Artist Music Seminars. Having the opportunity to be a guest in their warm and loving Black Hills, SD log home is still one of my all-time favorite memories. I have a reputation for gathering interesting friends: and they just might be at the top! Dr. Cruse did the now famous intervention of Mrs. Ford at the White House during the presidency of Gerald Ford which lead to the founding of the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs, CA. Sharon a noted author, speaker and expert workshop counselor on making family systems succeed. And also on the team that coined the phrase “codependency.” Is anyone more interesting than that? We had an amazing time of sharing stories and an abundance of love! Sharon was the first to tell me to watch for the Angels God was sending me. I have and HE has! - Judy Nelon, GospelMusicUpdate.com
